Gokarneshwor Municipality has published a notice inviting applications for various positions at Gokarneshwor Municipal Hospital on a contract basis.

In accordance with the Gokarneshwor Municipality Technical Staff (Contract) Management Procedure, 2075, eligible Nepali citizens are invited to apply for the following positions. Applicants meeting the required qualifications should submit their applications to the Office of the Municipal Executive within 15 days from the date of publication of this notice.

Eligibility and Experience

1. Applicants must be Nepali citizens.

2. Age Requirement:

For Internal Medicine, Gynecology and Obstetrics Specialist, ENT Specialist, MDGP, Pathologist, Medical Officer, Lab Technologist and B. Optometric positions, applicants must have completed 18 years of age and must not have exceeded 45 years of age.

For the Information Technology Officer position, applicants must have completed 21 years of age and must not have exceeded 35 years of age.

For Staff Nurse, Pharmacy Assistant, Lab Technician, Radiographer, Health Assistant, Physiotherapy Assistant, ANM, AHW, Electrician, Computer Assistant, Lab Assistant and Office Assistant positions, applicants must have completed 18 years of age and must not have exceeded 34 years of age.

3. Applicants must have a valid registration certificate from the relevant professional council, wherever applicable.

4. Applicants must not be disqualified under prevailing laws.

Documents Required

Applicants must submit copies of the following documents along with the application:

• Personal details

• Educational qualification certificates

• Nepali citizenship certificate

• Experience certificate, where applicable

• Certificate of registration with the relevant professional council, as required by prevailing Nepalese law

Selection Process

The selection process will consist of shortlisting and an interview.

Minimum Educational Qualifications

For Internal Medicine, Gynecology and Obstetrics Specialist, ENT Specialist, MDGP and Pathologist, applicants must have completed a Master's degree or equivalent qualification in the relevant subject from a recognized educational institution.

For Medical Officer, applicants must possess the qualification prescribed for the position and registration with the relevant professional council.

For Lab Technologist, applicants must have the required technical qualification in the relevant subject from a recognized educational institution.

For Staff Nurse, Pharmacy Assistant, Lab Technician, Radiographer, Health Assistant and Physiotherapy Assistant, applicants must have completed the required certificate-level or equivalent qualification in the relevant subject from a recognized educational institution.

For ANM, applicants must have completed the required ANM course.

For AHW, applicants must have completed the required CMA/AHW-level course.

For Lab Assistant, applicants must have completed the required Lab Assistant course.

For Electrician, applicants must have passed SLC/SEE from a recognized educational institution and completed the required Level-2 skill test in Electrical work through the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT).

For Computer Assistant, applicants must have passed SLC/SEE from a recognized educational institution and completed six months of computer-related training.

For Office Assistant, applicants must meet the qualifications prescribed under the prevailing rules.

Application Fee

The application fee is:

• Officer Level: NPR 1,500/-

• Assistant Level: NPR 1,000/-

Salary

The salary and other facilities will be provided according to prevailing laws and regulations.
